  • How do I know if I need a new roof or just a repair?

We’ll inspect your roof thoroughly and give an honest recommendation based on age, condition, and visible damage. As Residential HAAG certified inspectors, we’re credentialed to identify storm-specific damage such as hail and wind on your roof and surrounding property & can provide an assessment of its condition.

  • Do you provide free inspections or estimates?

Yes, we offer complimentary roof inspections and instant estimates, including detailed photo documentation for your records.

  • How long does a typical roof replacement take?

Most residential roof installations are completed in 1 day, depending on size, materials, and weather.

  • Are you licensed and insured in Texas?

Yes, we are fully insured and a proud member of the North Texas Roofing Contractors Association (NTRCA). While Texas doesn’t require a roofing license, we maintain all necessary certifications for quality assurance.

  • What warranties do you offer?

We provide a 5-year workmanship warranty on your roof that begins the day of your roof installation.

Claims FAQs

  • Should I file an insurance claim for my roof?

After your inspection, we’ll help you determine if filing a claim makes sense based on the damage to your roof and property.

  • Can you help with the insurance process?

Yes. We can support you through the process. Our team provides thorough inspection documentation, handles any necessary supplement submissions and is available to meet with your adjuster to ensure all damage is assessed.

  • Do I have to pay my deductible?

Yes. Texas law (HB2102) requires homeowners to pay their insurance deductible. We will never offer to waive or absorb it, as it’s both illegal and unethical.

  • What if my insurance doesn’t cover everything?

We’ll review your scope of loss. If needed, we’ll work closely with the insurance company to supplement any missing items.

  • Will my insurance premium go up if I file a claim?

It depends. Storm-related claims are usually classified as Acts of God and typically do not cause your individual premium to increase. However, insurance companies may raise rates for your entire area based on the storm’s impact.

Roof Installation FAQs

  • What time will the crew arrive?

The crew and onsite project supervisor typically arrive between 6:30–7:30 AM to begin setup and property protection.

  • Do I need to be home during the installation?

No, you don’t have to be home, but we do recommend being available by phone in case we need to confirm anything with you. If you have a gas line, we will coordinate access to your attic during the installation to ensure all safety requirements are met.

  • What do you do to protect my property during the install?

We do our best to tarp all landscaping, cover AC units, protect windows and patios, and do a full property walkthrough before and after installation.

  • Will it be loud during the installation?

Yes, roof installations are noisy. We recommend planning accordingly, especially if you work from home, have pets, or small children.

  • What if it rains during installation?

We monitor the weather closely. If there’s any high risk of rain within 24 hours of our installation, we’ll reschedule the installation to the next available date to avoid additional delays.

  • Do you clean up after the job is done?

Yes. We do a full magnetic sweep for nails, remove all debris, and perform a final quality control inspection to ensure everything is clean and complete.

  • How will I know when the job is finished?

The onsite project supervisor or project manager may perform a final walkthrough with you, review the scope of work completed, and ensure your satisfaction before closing out the project.

Payment Schedule FAQs

  • When is payment due for my project?

For retail projects, we collect a deposit at contract signing and the balance upon project completion. For insurance claims, payment is typically made in stages as funds are released by your insurance carrier.

  • What is an ACV check?

ACV stands for Actual Cash Value, which is the initial check your insurance company sends. It represents the value of your roof minus depreciation. You can use this check to begin your project.

  • What is depreciation?

Depreciation is the amount withheld by your insurance based on the age and condition of your roof. This amount is paid out after the work is completed and you’ve submitted proof of repairs.

  • When do I receive the depreciation check?

Once your project is complete and we send your insurance company the necessary documents, they will release the depreciation check. This usually arrives within 7–14 business days.

  • What is my deductible and when do I pay it?

Your deductible is your out-of-pocket portion required by your policy. It’s illegal in Texas for a contractor to waive it. We typically collect it at contract signing or before project completion.

  • Can I finance my deductible or the retail portion?

Yes! We have financing options available and can help you apply for 6-month interest-free loans or extended payment plans, subject to approval.

  • Do you bill the insurance company directly?

No, the homeowner is responsible for submitting payment to us. Your insurance pays you directly, and then you pay us according to the contract terms.

  • What documents will I need to send to my insurance after the job is done?

We’ll help you submit the final invoice, photo documentation, and any supplements to trigger the release of the final payment.
